I don’t know if YOU heard about this but the Coppola’s (Roman and Sophia) are the cousins of Jason Schwartzman. His mom is Talia Shire. Boom.
I don’t know if you ever heard about this, but Wes’ writing partner on this as well as Darjeeling Limited was Roman Coppola, who is the son of Francis Ford Coppola – one of the most highly regarded auteur of all time. Godfather, Apocalypse now, Patton, the outsiders, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, etc.
Roman is just coming into his own, has been a director on Lost in Translation, Vigin Suicides, Life Aquatic, and a bunch of shorts and cool vids. Anyway, I like the idea of these two teaming up.
